Push Poker Venue Support Points
Our point system is called the Venue Support Program and establishes the Venue Support Points award structure used for qualifying for the three annual Big Tournaments. Here's how it works:
To earn points toward qualifying for the next Big Tournament, each player must participate in the Venue Support Program by purchasing food and drink from the venues in which you play. A minimum purchase of $5.00 will enable poker players to earn Venue Support Points toward qualifying for the Big Tournament. At each event, the player will get a copy of his or her receipt upon busting out of the main tournament and bring it to the TD if they wish to earn Venue Support Points as outlined below.
Participation by the poker players in this program is strictly voluntary and is designed to support those venues that sponsor the Push Poker regular weekly tournaments. A player may choose not to participate in the Venue Support Program and still win the daily prizes based upon their finish in that event, but that player will not receive Venue Support Points toward qualifying for the Big Tournaments

Bounty information
The tournament director selects multiple players who are given a "bounty" chip worth 25-200pts along with their starting tournament chips. When a player is knocked out, the player who made that elimination is awarded the departing player's "bounty" chip and will be immediately given those extra points toward their overall standing. The number of bounty chips given out determine the position the players who are given bounties must be still in play to receive there own bounty points. Example: if 7 players receive bounties chips and those bounties are still in play when the tournament reaches 7 those players will be awarded those extra points toward their overall standing.
